It seems that I kind of neglected this blog for a bit, but I am back now.
What I perceive (or perceived) to be the problem is that I always have many hobbies and interests going at the same time. This means for one that I can't devote completely to one hobby at all times, and I might not be able to learn one thing to a robot level.
Until now I was sort of feeling bad because I thought I was doing something wrong. I can't commit to something, so how can I take something seriously and how can others take me seriously for it?
Right until I read Steve Pavlina's blog on the very same subject. Steve Pavlina is a personal improvement guru, who has a lot of things going in his life. He has a forum, a blog, writes a book, revies books, etc, etc and he seems to be quite comfortable doing all these.
He says in the style of a formula:

Many interests = faster growth = becoming smarter

Well, that's fine with me, as I realise that it's OK to have many talents, many hobbies, many interests, and it's ok to rotate your time between them.
One thing I know for sure is that I don't get bored easily, I'm quite happy on my own actually, as I'm always busy with something. And if I get bored of one activity, I have plenty of others to chose from.

So if you're like me, having a lot going on in your life, not being able to concentrate for a very long time (a lifetime?) on one thing only, it's OK, it's perfectly normal, and you're not alone :)

Hi there,

I agree with you on when one gets busy, she never feels lonely being alone. I do have lotsa hobbies which I do on my own and frankly speaking I would prefer spending my time on them instead of going out meeting people and doing weekend dayout stuffs.

I love to swim, play tennis, squash, read a good book, learn languages, do some baking and of course surfing the net. I can do a lot with the net like reading your blog and agreeing with you though I believe we're on opposite ends of the map. I love learning and checking out interesting stuffs online like Japanese and German languages, guitar lessons, tempting food pics and travel and tennis championship videos.

That basically explains why I choose my interests to blog about. ^-^
