Why charging when it's free?

The Western world is so commercially oriented, sometimes it's scary. If there is a buck to be made by unscrupulous corporations, then they will make it, no fears about that.

I purchased the other day the Reincarnation Cards (which synchronistically have been created by two spiritual authors who live right here in Cyprus, but that's another story) and today I was searching online for reviews and more information about the cards.

I landed to a page which wanted to charge me $5 to read a press release published a year ago about the death of the renowned writer about reincarnation, Ian Stevenson, which matched the day of publishing of the said Reincarnation cards. Since it is a press release, released all over the internet, it should be free, right? So I went back to Google and searched for it just a minute longer, and there I found it, free for everybody to read at their leasure. And no it's not a pirated, cracked, hacked, or whatnot article, it's a genuine, free article that people can and should be able to read at any time. But of course, if one lands to the first page and wants to read it, they might fork out the $5 that this 'Business Knowledge on Demand' is requesting for the priviledge.

If you want to read the free article, just as it was ment to be read, go here.

Ironically, the press release touches on spirituality with its subject, which that company's action seems to completely miss the point of it.
